The
house is a purposly understated design on the front, and as you
progress through it, opens up at to the South to a wide covered porch
with a spectacular view of Mohonk. It is designed to be in the
architectural language of the Mohonk lake porch with European, and Arts
and Crafts, and Dutch influences at the exterior. An exterior
pilaster system at the siding was experimented with to allow different
textures and rhythms on the building.
